Happy happy new year! 新年大快樂!

大家昨天開工,
我今天真正開始休息,
大掃除。

因為有事情忘了做,
這兩天還是得進公司,
都怪我的大豬頭。

過年少不了過度的吃吃喝喝,
這是有半世紀歷史的「添財」台式日本料理店

肥美的生蠔
這個印象深刻,好吃!

前菜吃完後面就忘了拍了。

心理算一算,
以當天的料理,
食材,
和服務品質,
一人最多最多一千二吧。
沒想到五個人吃了快一萬。
((驚))
繼高玉,這是一個月內讓我((驚))的第二家餐廳。


結果當天晚上和爸媽回到淡水吃「鮮流坊」
感覺一人大概吃了兩千,
但三人總共三千九。
還是覺得鮮流坊物超所值,
老闆阿迪的態度也令人讚嘆。


Japanese restaurant Xianliufang really has great food and service for the price.
Two thumbs up.

And where was I? On assignment at the zoo, in the rain. Not complaining, just giving some contrast to the picture. :D


Shing-Peng-Lai 興蓬萊 really is a tasty restaurant. My favorite is the fried taro ball 酥炸芋頭丸. But it's usually so packed that there are people practically spilling out the windows. I highly suggest bringing along more family members and friends, and get a private room when going. We never do, and I always end up wishing that we did. Maybe we never get a room because there are always VIP's like former President Lee Teng-hui in there. This is one of his favorite restaurants, for good reason.

Where do you get hot, freshly made organic soy milk chock full of fiber, no sugar and in the middle of the night? My kitchen. I ♥ my soy milk maker.

三更半夜去哪裡找有機無糖全纖香淳濃郁豆漿?我家廚房。我♥我的豆漿機。

I bought a Sampo DG-PA12 from PChome for TWD3998 and so far so good, but too early to give a recommendation.

Douhua 台南修安豆花


Douhua is very soft tofu, often eaten as a sweet snack or dessert. Can be hot or cold. One of my favorite foods. You can have it with just brown sugar water or with toppings as well. Here I have stewed taro and peanuts. Yum yum yum yum yum!

Miaoli's Hakka rice ball soup 苗栗的客家湯圓



苗栗的客家湯圓  比小湯圓還要大,但裡面沒有包餡,所以吃起來特別彈牙,也嚐得到加了爆香過的油蔥,蝦米,香菇,豬肉的雞豬骨頭高湯裡面豐富的好滋味。

Tunnel adventures 2 隧道探險2



What do you think crawl out of the holes in the tunnel at night when everyone's gone?

晚上沒人時,覺得洞穴會有什麼東西爬出來呢?

The mineral crystals left by water dripping down the sides of the tunnels created some interesting lines and patches, which was what caught my eye in the first place.
