I had to work on my birthday, but it was one of the best birthdays I’ve ever had. My wonderful coworkers surprised me at work with a cake, candle, song, kiss and and flowers from “an admirer.” It was really funny and really heartwarming - very different from the usual busy and grouchy side of them that I see. Well, it was a Sunday and the scary bosses were off, so maybe that had something to do with it.
After work, I went to Yi-Chen’s wedding dinner. Yi-Chen is one of my best friends from high school. One of the most intelligent but impossibly, hilariously silly girls I know. Tonight, there was nothing better than seeing her so happy and so much in love.
Going to work on a birthday and not throwing a big bash to celebrate may sound depressing to some people, but this was one of the best birthdays ever.
雖然生日還得上班
今天真的好開心
同事們偷偷買了蛋糕
還送了一籃“from仰慕者”的花
最後點蠟燭，唱歌
SNG阿舍導播還親了我一下
平常大家很忙，壓力很大
好像講話的時候
不是在罵髒話
就是在抱怨誰多瞎，誰多豬頭
所以，哇，今天真是好感動
下班後去喝小時候很好朋友的喜酒
雖然沒有甚麼機會講話
但看著她那麼幸福開心
世界上已經沒有更重要的世情了
有些人可能覺得生日得上班
下班後又不能好好慶祝
好可憐
可是今年這一個生日
讓我覺得幸福不已
