Osmanthus Artist Village - Paper Tole 桂花巷藝術村 紙雕

Here is just one of the studios at the artist village. This is the work of paper tole artist Shi Xiuya, whose favorite theme is "Mazu, goddess of the sea."

The artist is particularly proud of the curves she produces.

Unfortunately, I just found out that because of an error (on her part) in filling out the application to renew her permission to stay at the village, her application was turned down and now needs to move out. She is donating most of her work and moving back home to continue her art.

今天跟詩老師確認地址的時候，

很慚愧的聽到她說，

因為在申請表格上填錯東西，

她的申請沒通過，無法繼續在藝術村創作和展出。

因此她打算把作品捐出（因為家裡擺不下），

搬回家繼續創作，

不過家裡的工作室暫不開放。
