This was after my nightmare infomercial. The taxi fare was more than TWD500 (that is a lot for Taipei) and the ride took more than 30 minutes. The food was cold, but I heard it was really good when it was hot. The chef escaped from China by swimming to Hong Kong and somehow eventually made his way to Taiwan. Sounds like a fun story to do sometime.

Isn't Daniel's girlfriend Quyen cute? I really like her personality, too.
I'm glad I was able to make dinner, even if it was just the end of it. I got to see Uncle Frank, who was just getting into his car as I arrived. I was glad to see that he seemed to be holding up alright after his daughter died the previous week.
