The Harvard nut on 2 wheels.
This is Gina, one of my very very very very bestest friends. She just graduated from Harvard Business School and decided to ride across America on a Vespa. Apparently my totaling her Renaissa and almost killing myself in Tokyo (which I felt very badly about) was no warning that biking is dangerous. Oh well. I still love her anyway.
This is her blog, chronicling her cross-country adventure.

Interesting. Someone recently sent me a link to a person who had done a cross country trip across Canada on a scooter. A neat way to see a country if you have the time. However, with the short wheelbase of a scooter, I think it would be uncomfortable after a while.
I'm sure a very sore lower back would be part of the package.
