At Osteria!
Same menu, same two chefs, same head busboy for the past 23 years.
It has been our family's favorite Italian restaurant since we moved to Los Altos Hills more than 15 years ago. I like to flirt with the big Italian guys there (since they flirt with me), so they're kind of nice to me, but beware, I hear they're famous for great food and lousy service. Lights are really low there, like the rest of downtown Palo Alto, it seems. Very romantic. No wonder Mom and Dad used to sneak off together to have dinner there. How do I know? Because one time us kids were there with our own friends and we ran into them!

There's parking beneath City Hall diagonally across the street.
Afterwards, Jennifer treated us to Fraise frozen yogurt. I had pomegranate, dried figs and mochi as toppings. Can you see the pomegranate in my teeth? Haha...

Hi Michella! I found your blog while surfing on the Internet and I find it super interesting!
I am a Spaniard from Barcelona, but actually lived in Taipei for 9 years (from 1995 to 2004). Taiwan is a place really close to my heart, as you can imagine.
I was interested to read your posts about the rescue dogs. I loved those. I am actually writing a blog about Gaby, a dog I rescued from the garbage in Wulai (outside Taipei) many years back and that I then sent over to Spain. He is very old now, so I decided to tell his story and adventures through a blog.
Nice meeting you, and who knows, maybe we will meet in Taipei! My husband and I will be there in December for some classical music performances (my husband is a violinist!). Take care!
Thanks for your note, Susana!
How interesting that you spent 9 years in Taipei and how lovely you rescued a dog and sent her back to Spain!
What were you doing in Taipei from 1995 to 2004?
