Mom's birthday dinner at the Landis last, last Saturday.
Michael, Daniel, Quyen and I put together some money and bought Mom a rare, handmade pen of celluloid and cotton from Montegrappa. Also part of the celebration is that big, expensive (!) bouquet of flowers next to me. Those cost me a fortune, but I knew Mom would love them. And I guess she did, because when the server asked if he should hold on to them for us, she said no and wanted to look at the flowers while having dinner.
