Inspiration is an amazing thing. Some people inspire without knowing it. Some people get inspired without realizing it. It's something that sometimes takes no form or physical existence, and yet it's so powerful that can get someone going or keep someone moving.
Recently, I've become aware of this thing called "inspiration." It's taken two forms - one in the form of a person and another in the form of a creation.
Almost every time I meet Mr Chu, he seems gives me the energy to keep going, the confidence of knowing what I am doing is right and the faith that one day, I WILL succeed. The last time I was totally burned out, I went to him for help. When I'm doing alright, he gives me worldly advice and new ideas. He is a source of inspiration.
Every time I look at one of Mama's prints, I get inspired to pick up my pencils and start practicing sketching and working on art again. I don't necessarily want to do the same thing she does, but looking at her creations makes me want to make my own.
Person, creative product, perhaps the common denominator is the spirit behind them. Of course, inspiration is different for everyone, but right now I am in search of more sources of inspiration for myself. And I hope that one day, I will be a source of inspiration for others as well.
