Reason for unification 統一的理由

Quoted from Laowiseass:

A friend from China just e-mailed me this pitch for why her country should unite with Taiwan:
"As a Chinese, I hope we can make Taiwan island come back as soon as possible, and I'm sure, because in my opinion, China's map looks like a chicken, you know? Hainan island and Taiwan island looks like two legs of this chicken, so if a chicken lost one of its legs, how can it alive anymore?"

Hi, I've just read your profile, and noticed that you went to Japan for school. Was it a graduate school? Do you mind telling me which school it was, and your major? Because I am considering to go to Japan for graduate school, and as I am doing a rough research online, couldn't really find anything. Hope you could share some experience. Thanks!

Dear Anonymous,

Thanks for visiting my blog.

I went to Waseda University for my MBA from 2002 - 2004. It is a two-year, bilingual (Japanese/English) program, and I chose the English course because my Japanese language ability was only good enough for daily conversation. You can still take Japanese courses even if you're enrolled in the English side, and the flexibility was nice. I felt that the teaching staff, students and networks on the Japanese side were much more sophisticated, but that is to be expected, since the school is in Japan, after all.

If you're looking for a world-class MBA education, Waseda may not be the top choice for some people, but if you want to get an MBA degree and learn a lot of Japanese and make some Japanese and international friends, this may be a good choice.

Feel free to leave comments or more questions here. I will try to answer them as much as I can. :)
